Leap 4

This is the last day of the leap 4 classes. After today, leap 4 will be finished and I had been studying in leap program almost one and half a years. How would I say, there was a lot good memory and also I had made many new friends in here. I remembered that when I first time came to Canada, my English was really week, and I could not write academic essays. On the other hand, my listening and speaking were really bad. After one years study in leap, my English is getting better and better and I thought these was a big improvement for learning English. When I was in the leap 2, I remembered that we went to Calgary zoo; there was a lot of fun. However I will finish this program soon, I think I will miss my classmate and my instructors such as Pam and Scott. Especially Scott who is my listening and speaking instructors, his class is so interesting. Also I thought we don’t have long distance between him and us. However, he is our teacher but I think he is also our friend. He is a really friendly people. Don’t u think so? I think I will miss him and Pam in the further, I hope that we could keep in touch in further

CoKE

Today, Coke is a really familiar thing for everyone because it is the most popular pop around the world. The brand of Coke almost value a billion dollars. I saw there was a joke form Chinese Internet that when the Coke Company invested in the Chinese market, the president of Coke Company said that almost every Chinese drink tea every day. In the further, he predicted most Chinese would give up drink tea in order to drink Coke only. When I first time say this joke that I thought it was so funny, but I am the person who give up to drink the tea and then changing to drink Coke. I remembered that I started to drink coke since I was 14 years old. Till today, I had drink coke for 7 years, how would I say, I almost addict it. Some times, if I don’t drink coke I feel so bad. On the other hand, I drink at least 2 bottles of coke and just drink only water. I knew that drink too much pop is unhealthy. Finally, I decide to quit drink coke but it is really hard because I had been trying that before. Each times was failed. I hope that I could quit drink the pop in the further. Maybe I could drink a few per week.

Blog

I have studied in leap one years, and almost each smester we need to wirte 12 blogs. How wolud i say....i am not really like this part but it is helpful and useful for our writing. On the other hand , it will shorten the distance between students and teachers. In Chinese university, the student and teacher almost never talk to each other. The lack of communication between teacher and students is a problems in China.I am not people who alway talk on the interenet. Sometimes, i think the talking on the Msn everday is a kinds of wasting time, but i am intersing to look at my instrctor blog such as Scott, who is my Leap 4 instructor, and he spent a lot time on the blog. His blog is so intersting and also write a lot his personal things that happened in his life. Maybe i should spent more time on the blog and give my classmate sone advice. In the further, after i finish Leap program, i would like to continue to do it because i still want to keep connect with my instructors and old classmate. Finally, i hope that i could read more and more interesting things from our blog.

Generation Gap

Do u have generation gap between u and ur parents? I think I have huge a generation gap between me and i. I don't know why i don’t like talk to my parents since i graduate from elementary school. Maybe it was the age’s problem. The parent’s idea were too fogyism. For example, some of the Chinese parents did not allow the high students that having a boy friend or girlfriend. They consider it was wasting time and also it will delay the studying. I don’t agree with that. On the other hand, when I was young, I don’t like to talk with my parent and usually asked to my sister. However, my sister maybe incorrect, but I will want to listen to her. Till today, I will always talked to the people who had same age with us. We could talk about everything. When I was young, I thought my parents usually could not understand us, and I always made some mistake that made them really angry. Today, I thought they were right because they had more experience of life that I didn’t have. Maybe when I become parents, something will happen, I hope they could understand me in that time LOL

Boxing

Boxing matches is a really interesting sport in the world. When I first saw the boxing matches that is in the TV. Boxing matches were not only popular in the Unite State but also in England two hundred years ago. However it is a popular sport in the world, it is also most dangers activity around the world. Boxer fight with bare fists for prize money because of they is prizefighters. Long time ago, boxing was very crude, for there are no rules and a prizefighter could be seriously injured or even killed during a match. Did u have been seeing this kind boxing in the TV show, especially, in the Unite state? I saw a kind of boxing that was so crude because the boxer could use everything in the matches such as chairs or something else. I don’t know that is real or pretence. On the other hand, the show just wanted to allure more audience and increasing their audience. If I have a chance, I would like to go to see real boxing matches. I think there is a lot of fun. I remembered that a king of boxer loses a match, and then he ate the ear of the anthers boxers. First time I listened to this, I thought it was so funny.

Festival

In China, there are many different kinds of festival such as Spring Festival, Duan Wu Festival and National Festival. I had been almost 1 and half year that did not go back China so I miss these holidays also miss my family. The Spring Festival is similar to the Christmas in China and it is really important holiday in China because that is a Chinese happy new year. The government will hold stately social party to celebrate the spring Festival also every family will stay together to eat dumpling and give lucky money to each person. During that holiday, everyone will get a week holiday and people visit their friends and family. The spring festival of China is happened at Feb 19 but I have to go to school and midterm was coming as a result I did not celebrate. I only could see the social party on the Internet and I ate some dumpling with my friends. On the other hand, a lot of Chinese celebrate the holiday in downtown. It was different between China and Canada. It was kind of disappointed so I hope maybe next years I could celebrate the spring festival with my family in China and get some lucky money from my parents.

cookies

I think most people like eat cookies, but did they know how to make it? I like eat cookies but I hate to make cookie because we have to buy too many things such as cream and puff pastry also it was very difficult. I was really busy this semester so I decide to make cookies at this week. This is my first time try to make my own cookies by myself because I promise to make cookies for my girlfriend. Before I started to make the cookies, I researched on different kinds of website, I got some knack that tech u how to make the cookies more easily. I went to Safeway and bought something that make cookie and then I decided to only make 6 cookies yet it was my first time to make cookies and I knew I will destroy the cookies also I did not have enough confident. I used 20 minutes to bake the cookies as a result it was not bad but I think it was huge differences between my cookies and Safeway’s cookies. How would I say? It was an attempt and I hope I would make much better cookies in further. Maybe I will share the cookies with my friends or my family.
